Maroc Aqua/Green has a light, airy look, with a fine all-over geometric motif that reads as calm and tailored. The aqua-green tone sits softly on a pale ground, giving the design a fresh, understated finish.

About this fabric

This Elara colourway by Jane Churchill is woven in 65% cotton, 23% polyester and 12% linen, with an approximate width of 135cm and a repeat of V 26cm / H 17cm. The surface shows a small repeating diamond-lattice motif, picked out in a muted aqua-green that feels cooler and more restrained than a brighter turquoise. Against the pale ivory base, the pattern remains delicate and evenly distributed, so the cloth keeps a quiet, textural presence rather than a bold graphic one. The composition gives it a natural, slightly crisp handle that suits both curtains and light upholstery where a refined woven look is wanted.

How to use it

This soft aqua-green works well with sand, stone and weathered timber, especially in rooms that need colour without losing brightness. It can also lift upholstered pieces in a coastal or contemporary scheme while staying calm and tailored.

Use with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a fresh, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
