Idris Aqua

Elara FabricJ0308-03

Idris Aqua presents a finely textured geometric surface in a very pale, misty aqua. The pattern is subtle and close-set, so the colour reads first: cool, airy and softly luminous.

About this fabric

This Elara fabric by Jane Churchill is woven in 80% Recycled Polyester and 20% Polyester, with a repeat of approximately V 8cm / H 8cm and a width of approximately 136cm. In Idris Aqua, the tiny geometric motif sits in a barely-there tonal contrast, giving the cloth a delicate all-over movement rather than a bold pattern statement. The shade is light and cool, with a washed aqua cast that feels fresher than beige and gentler than a clear blue. Its even, finely worked texture makes it look neat and tailored, while the soft surface keeps it from feeling stark.

How to use it

Use Idris Aqua where you want colour without weight: it will brighten upholstered pieces, Roman blinds or full-length curtains with a clean, coastal softness. It pairs neatly with chalk whites, pale oak and brushed nickel for a calm, contemporary room.

A quiet aqua that feels fresh and airy across both curtains and upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
