About this fabric
This colourway is a plain, close-woven textile with a soft matte surface and a dense-looking finish that gives the shade a deep, enveloping feel. The 140cm approximate width and 50% cotton, 50% polyester composition make it a practical fabric for made-to-measure upholstery projects, while the zero repeat confirms the clean, uninterrupted appearance visible in the swatch. Peacock is a refined blue-green with a darker undercurrent, so it catches light with a subtle tonal shift rather than a sheen. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this peacock teal on a compact sofa, ottoman or occasional chair where the colour can read as a jewel-like block. It pairs well with warm brass, walnut and pale neutral walls, which help the blue-green depth stand out.
A rich jewel tone that feels especially elegant on tailored seating or accent pieces.

Pairs well with
Emile Peacock is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
