About this fabric

Emile Off-White from the Emile II collection by Jane Churchill is a plain fabric with a quiet, low-key finish and no visible repeat, making the colour the focus. Its 50% cotton and 50% polyester composition gives it a balanced cloth feel, and at approx. 140cm wide it is a practical choice for wider applications. The tone is a softened cream-white with a gentle warmth that sits comfortably between ivory and chalk. The image shows a smooth, finely woven appearance with very subtle tonal variation rather than a pronounced texture.

How to use it

Use this off-white with pale oak, linen upholstery and warm metals for a light, tailored interior. It also works well as a soft backdrop where you want the room to feel bright without reading cold.

A quiet neutral for tailored schemes, with enough softness to keep a room feeling warm.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
