Amazilia Ecru pairs a softly warm ecru ground with fine flowering branches, pale blossoms and small hummingbirds in muted, natural colours. The open background keeps the detailed botanical arrangement feeling light rather than dense.

About this fabric

The pattern combines clusters of delicate grey-white flowers with slender branching stems and hummingbirds picked out in subdued rust, olive, teal and yellow tones. At 236 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design repeats every 67.6 cm vertically and 69.6 cm horizontally, giving the floral and bird motifs room to breathe across the cloth. A construction of 74.1 threads per cm supports the finely drawn appearance visible across the ecru colourway.

How to use it

Use Amazilia Ecru where its warm, almost parchment-like ground can brighten a room, such as relaxed curtains, an occasional chair or a botanical cushion. Echo the muted teal, olive and rust accents with plain linens or painted furniture rather than competing patterns.

Use the warm ecru ground to lighten upholstery or drapery, while the bird and blossom details add gentle colour and movement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
