Albany Ivory

Albany Ivory is a pale, understated woven textile with a softly crosshatched surface visible across the swatch. Its warm ivory ground is gently shaded by fine, cooler threads, giving the plain design quiet depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This substantial 517gsm fabric has a close, even weave with delicate vertical and horizontal tonal variation across the ivory surface. The 139cm usable width provides a practical format for upholstery projects and coordinated cushion work. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the plain texture can be cut without matching concerns. Its soft cream tone reads light and warm overall, while the fine grey-beige threads add a restrained, tailored character.

How to use it

Use Albany Ivory on a classic armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its softly warm tone can brighten the room without appearing stark. Pair it with natural timber, pale stone and muted taupe accents to pick up the subtle depth in its woven surface.

The softly textured ivory ground brings lightness to upholstered seating while retaining a substantial, tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
