Horta Gull

Paxton FabricL9240-02

Horta Gull is a softly glowing ivory colourway with a neat geometric pattern that reads clean and refined. The woven surface gives the design a lightly textured, tailored look rather than a flat print.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 27% acrylic, 25% viscose, 19% polyester, 15% cotton and 14% linen, this fabric has a balanced handle suited to either upholstery or drapery. The repeat is approximately V 24cm and H 35cm, which gives the geometric motif a measured, architectural rhythm across the cloth. In Horta Gull, the small-scale relief pattern sits in soft warm ivory and pale beige threads, so the motif is visible without feeling harsh or high contrast. The overall effect is calm and airy, with just enough texture to catch the light and add depth to neutral interiors.

How to use it

Use Horta Gull on an armchair, banquette or relaxed curtain treatment where the warm ivory ground can brighten the room without going stark. It works especially well with oak, limestone and muted taupe accents, where the geometry adds structure to an otherwise quiet scheme.

Pair with pale timber and textured neutrals to let the geometric weave stay crisp and light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
