Wallace Alabaster

Radley FabricL9040-01

Wallace Alabaster is a quietly washed, pale linen with a fine, natural weave and a softly chalky look. The colour reads as an understated alabaster cream, cool enough to stay fresh but warm enough to feel inviting.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and offered at an approximate 326cm width, Wallace Alabaster is a practical wide-width textile with a plain, unpatterned surface and no visible repeat. The cloth has a lightly textured linen grain that gives the pale ground some depth without breaking its calm appearance. In this colourway, the tone sits between cream and soft ivory, with a muted, low-contrast finish that lets daylight soften it further. The result is a fabric that feels clean and airy rather than stark, making the natural fibre texture part of the design. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Alabaster where you want a room to feel brighter and more open, especially on relaxed curtains, slipcovers or simple headboards. Its gentle cream tone pairs well with weathered woods, limewashed walls and soft neutrals.

A calm pale linen that works across large upholstery pieces and full-height curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
