Paxton FabricL9238-06

Bowler Glass reads as a restrained flax-toned cream with a gentle, chalky softness across the surface. The fabric’s fine woven texture keeps the colourway calm and understated rather than flat.

About this fabric

Bowler Glass is a plain-woven fabric from Larsen’s Paxton collection, with a 134cm approximate width and a repeat of V 1cm / H 6cm approx. Its mix of 43% linen, 21% wool, 18% cotton, 7% bamboo, 6% polyester and 5% polyamide gives the cloth a softly structured handle that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this colourway, the surface looks like a muted cream with a cool flax cast, lightly warmed by the natural fibres and broken up by a fine slubbed texture. The overall effect is understated and elegant, with just enough visual depth to stop the neutral from feeling stark.

How to use it

Use Bowler Glass where you want a pale neutral that still feels textile-led, such as a tailored sofa, bench seat or relaxed curtains. Its soft cream tone pairs especially well with oak, putty, stone and muted sage finishes.

A quiet, versatile neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
