Albers Midnight

Paxton FabricL9243-05

Albers Midnight shows a tightly interlocking geometric weave in smoky blue-grey, softened by pale beige lines that lift the pattern. The result is structured and quietly atmospheric rather than sharply contrasty.

About this fabric

This colourway of Paxton by Larsen has a cool, muted midnight-blue ground with a slightly misty grey cast, crossed by fine pale linear detailing that reads almost chalky against the darker base. The woven construction gives the surface a subtle textile depth, so the pattern feels crisp without looking flat. With a width of approximately 138cm and a composition of 49% viscose, 35% polyester and 16% cotton, it has the substance and versatility to work across interior schemes. The repeat is approximately V 38cm / H 35cm, which supports the regular basket-like geometry visible in the swatch. Its smart, understated tone makes the design feel tailored and modern rather than bright or decorative.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or dining seat where the blue-grey ground can settle into a darker scheme without feeling heavy. It also works nicely against oak, walnut and brushed metal, where the pale pattern lines add just enough definition.

Pairs well with warm woods and clean-lined upholstery for a tailored, contemporary look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
