About this fabric

Woven in 90% linen and 10% polyester, Cole Alabaster has the natural, slightly nubbly character you expect from linen, softened by a smooth, muted finish. The design reads as a broad abstract pattern with a visible repeat of approximately V 39cm and H 27cm, but in this colourway it stays delicate and tonal rather than bold. Its very pale alabaster cream carries a whisper of warmth, so the surface feels calm, light-reflective and easy to live with. At approximately 300cm wide, it is well suited to generous drops, larger upholstery projects or broad window treatment applications. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair this pale cream with bleached oak, chalky neutrals and softly textured wool for a quiet, layered room. It also works well where you want pattern without visual weight, especially on large curtains or a tailored sofa.

Use this soft alabaster tone to bring a quiet, low-contrast finish to larger pieces or wide drapes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cole Alabaster without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
