Reyes Clay

Paxton FabricL9236-02

Reyes Clay has a softly textured, small-scale zigzag effect that reads as calm and refined in this warm neutral colourway. The surface sits between cream and clay, with a gentle woven movement that becomes more visible as the light shifts across it.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% polyester, 19% acrylic, 7% wool and 4% linen, Reyes Clay combines a practical fibre blend with a crisp, ordered surface. The pattern repeats in a vertical 11cm by horizontal 15cm approx. and the narrow zigzag motif gives the cloth a tailored, rhythmic look. This colourway is a muted clay cream rather than a stark beige, so the pattern shows in soft tonal contrast instead of strong outline. At 128cm approx. wide, it works well for schemes that want texture and pattern without losing a light, airy feel.

How to use it

Use it on chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where the warm clay note can sit comfortably with timber, taupe and stone finishes. It also pairs well with matte metals and other quiet neutrals if you want the pattern to add structure without feeling bold.

A restrained warm neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and muted metallics.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
