Sasaki Honey

Paxton FabricL9239-05

Sasaki Honey is a woven, tactile colourway with a warm honey-gold cast and a softly ribbed surface. The irregular flecks and horizontal striations give it a lived-in, textural look rather than a flat yellow.

About this fabric

This fabric is from Larsen’s Paxton collection and is composed of 61% Cotton, 38% Viscose and 1% Polyamide, with an approximate width of 134cm. The surface shows a compact, nubby weave with fine horizontal bands and small bouclé-like knots that catch the light. Sasaki Honey reads as a mellow golden beige, with toasted undertones and slightly darker thread lines that add depth without making it feel heavy. The repeat is vertical at approximately 6cm with no horizontal repeat, which supports the orderly linear rhythm visible across the swatch. With its tactile structure and fabric specification, it is well suited to upholstery where a warm, inviting finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this honey-gold shade on a sofa, banquette or occasional chair to bring warmth to oak, walnut and linen schemes. It pairs especially well with muted greens, tobacco leathers and chalky neutrals.

A warm honey tone that brings soft richness to clean-lined seating and accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
