Caspian Prints & Embroideries FabricSAF0304-03

Anaar Woad brings a lively pomegranate trail in mustard gold and teal across a soft cream ground. The stitched look of the motifs gives the design a textured, handcrafted feel.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection is a textile with a usable width of 141 cm, a 66 cm vertical repeat and a matching 141 cm horizontal repeat. At 252 gsm and 38 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial fabric with enough body for upholstery as well as confident drapery. The cream background keeps the pattern light, while the golden pomegranate forms feel warm and sunlit rather than brash. Teal-blue stems and leaves add a cool contrast that stops the colourway from becoming too sweet, giving the print a fresher, more balanced finish.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern and warmth without heaviness: it works beautifully on an accent chair, bench cushion, or relaxed curtains. The cream ground and blue-green foliage sit especially well with oak, aged brass and soft sage paint.

Pairs well with natural wood and muted greens for a warm, grounded scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Anaar Woad without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
