About this fabric

From Sanderson's Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection, this fabric has a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial 236 gsm weight, giving the cloth enough body for relaxed curtains or light upholstery use. The design shows branching stems in warm tan and gold threadwork, filled with teal leaves, cream flowers and tiny hints of yellow-green that lift the surface. Because the repeat is large at 68 cm vertical by 93 cm horizontal, the pattern opens out into a generous trailing composition rather than a tight all-over. The cream ground keeps the colourway airy, while the teal reads vivid but not dark, so the embroidery feels crisp and refined rather than heavy.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need pattern but still want a bright, open feel, especially against painted woodwork, pale oak or brass details. It is particularly appealing for curtains, cushions or a statement chair where the teal leaves can sit against the soft cream ground.
