Cantaloupe Blush/Dove

Caspian Prints & Embroideries FabricSAF0308-02

Cantaloupe Blush/Dove brings a pale, romantic fruit-and-foliage pattern to the surface, with blush pink motifs lifted by soft dove blue and muted sage. The design reads airy rather than sugary, thanks to the creamy ground and the washed, hand-drawn look of the leaves.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied as a woven fabric with a usable width of 139 cm, a 90 cm vertical repeat and a 139 cm horizontal repeat, so the pattern is set out on a generous large scale. At 425 gsm and 26.8 threads per cm, it has enough substance for upholstery while still working well where you want drape and body. In this colourway, the peach-blush fruit forms sit against a warm off-white ground, while the dove-blue foliage keeps the overall effect cool and balanced. The pale greens and softened berry outlines give the print a faded botanical richness that feels calm, light and slightly vintage.

How to use it

Use it to soften a bedroom chair, window seat or relaxed curtains, especially alongside chalky whites, weathered oak and brushed brass. The blush and dove tones feel freshest in rooms with plenty of natural light.

Pair with natural linens and pale wood for a fresh, softly romantic scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cantaloupe Blush/Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
