Amelia Rose Wedgwood/Rose

Country House Fabrics FabricSAF0102-01

Amelia Rose Wedgwood/Rose is a softly faded floral with creamy ground, dusty pink blooms and cool wedgwood-blue foliage. The large-scale repeat gives it a traditional country-house character without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country House Fabrics collection is a substantial 290gsm textile with a usable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 60 m. The design shows full, painterly roses and mixed blossoms scattered across an ivory-cream ground, with the rose petals reading as powder pink and deeper blush rather than bright pink. Wedgwood-blue leaves and pale sage-green stems cool the palette, while the 58 cm vertical repeat and 69.5 cm horizontal repeat reinforce the generous, decorative scale. With 35 threads per cm, it has a fine enough surface for a detailed printed look but enough body to sit comfortably in upholstery schemes.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, occasional chair or ottoman where the cream ground and cool blue-green foliage can lift a room. It pairs especially well with washed timber, painted woodwork and muted rose or sage accents.

Pretty, country-house florals with a soft heritage feel; ideal for an inviting upholstered statement.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amelia Rose Wedgwood/Rose without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
