Kasuri Pondicherry presents a dusty coral-pink ikat-style pattern against a warm ivory ground. Its mirrored scrolling forms and softly feathered edges give the design a hand-worked, textile-like character.

About this fabric

The coral-pink motifs have a muted, chalky depth rather than a bright or sharply saturated finish, allowing the ivory ground to remain clearly visible between the ornamental forms. Curving scrolls, pointed leaf-like shapes and a central symmetrical flourish are rendered with softly irregular, brush-like edges. The supplied usable width is 52 cm, with a 61 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. Each standard length is 10.05 m, and the listed weight is 154 gsm.

How to use it

Use this colourway to add a gentle rosy accent to bedrooms, dressing rooms or relaxed sitting spaces, pairing it with warm ivory, pale timber and soft neutral upholstery. The muted coral tone works especially well where a decorative pattern is wanted without the intensity of a stronger red or fuchsia.

A softly textured coral-pink and ivory ikat motif that brings gentle colour and ornamental rhythm to walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
