Amelia Rose Crimson/Gold

Country House Fabrics FabricSAF0102-03

Amelia Rose Crimson/Gold is a large, painterly floral with full roses and layered foliage scattered across a warm pale ground. The crimson-pink petals and soft gold accents give the design a gentle, timeworn richness.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country House Fabrics collection has a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial 290 gsm handle, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The print shows clustered rose blooms in crimson pink, blush and ivory, with sage and olive leaves and touches of buttery gold on a warm cream ground. Its 58 cm vertical repeat and 69.5 cm horizontal repeat support the generous, repeating bouquet layout visible in the swatch. The overall effect is traditional but not heavy, with the gold notes keeping the floral soft rather than stark.

How to use it

Use it to lift a country sitting room, bedroom or window seat with a palette of aged cream, moss green and warm wood. The pink-and-gold tones read especially well in rooms that need a romantic, softly sunlit focal point.

A classic country-house floral that brings warmth and softness to both upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amelia Rose Crimson/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
