Amanpuri Mulberry/Olive

Amanpuri Mulberry/Olive shows a full trailing floral pattern in jewel-like pinks and purples set against olive foliage and a warm ivory ground. The print has a lively, country-house feel, with the darker stems and outlines giving the design clear definition.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied with a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial 402 gsm weight, so it reads as a confident mid-to-heavy textile rather than a delicate print. The pattern repeat is 64 cm vertically and 137 cm horizontally, which suits statement curtains, cushions and tailored upholstery pieces where the floral trail can be shown to full effect. In this colourway, the mulberry and magenta flowers feel saturated and romantic, while the olive leaves and brown stems keep the design grounded and earthy. The ivory background brightens the overall look, allowing the richer shades to stand out without becoming overly dark.

How to use it

Pair it with painted timber, aged brass and natural linens to let the mulberry tones lead. It works especially well in rooms that want a decorative, lived-in elegance with a slightly botanical edge.

Use it where you want a rich country-house statement with plenty of colour contrast.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amanpuri Mulberry/Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
