Chestnut Tree Coral/Bayleaf

Country Woodland Wallcoverings WallpaperSAW0045-03

Chestnut Tree Coral/Bayleaf pairs a warm ivory-beige ground with delicately drawn chestnut branches, broad bayleaf-green foliage and softly coral-tinted blossom clusters. The pale ground keeps the composition airy, while the leaf studies give the design a clearly botanical presence.

About this fabric

This Sanderson wallpaper is printed with a 76.2 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the branching composition to run naturally down the wall. In the swatch, muted bayleaf, olive and tan leaves sit alongside small coral-pink flowers, with fine sepia lines defining the stems and veins. The 68.6 cm usable width and 10.05 m standard length are suited to planning a continuous wall installation. At 153 gsm, the paper has a light visual feel that suits the delicate, illustrated character of the design.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground as a quiet backdrop in a bedroom or garden-inspired hallway, then echo the bayleaf foliage in painted joinery or upholstery and pick up the restrained coral in smaller accents. Its softly weathered palette works particularly well with natural wood, woven textures and warm neutral flooring.

Use this softly coloured botanical wallpaper to bring gentle woodland character to bedrooms, hallways or a calm sitting room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
