Manila Mulberry/Sand

Curios Fabrics FabricSAF0088-02

Manila Mulberry/Sand shows an exuberant leaf pattern in mulberry, olive green, coral and ochre on a soft sand ground. The palette feels warm and lively, with the pale background keeping the repeating foliage sharp and easy to read.

About this fabric

This Curios Fabrics design from Sanderson is a fabric with a usable width of 142 cm, a standard length of 60 m, a 43.5 cm vertical repeat and a 70 cm horizontal repeat. At 260 gsm and 91 threads per cm, it sits in a substantial mid-weight category that suits either upholstery accents or statement curtains. The print is full of layered fern and palm-like leaves, with mulberry fronds giving the design its richest note against sandy cream ground. Olive greens and coral-pink stems add contrast without making the overall effect dark, so the colourway stays bright, decorative and distinctly tropical.

How to use it

Pair it with biscuit linens, rattan and polished brass to echo the sand ground and warm the mulberry accents. It works especially well as a bold chair fabric, cushion cloth or drape in rooms that need colour without heaviness.

Use it to bring a vivid tropical note to relaxed interiors with warm wood and cane.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
