About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Fabrics collection has a usable width of 138 cm and comes in a standard 30 m roll, with a vertical repeat of 77 cm and a horizontal repeat of 42 cm. At 285 gsm and 32 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial mid-weight textile rather than a sheer, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The visible ground is a creamy linen tone, while the protea motif is worked in cool china blues with beige and taupe stems that keep the design light and balanced. The palette is muted rather than bright, so the repeat feels calm and decorative without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a botanical pattern that still feels restrained, such as an armchair, occasional curtains or a tailored blind. Its cool blue petals and linen background sit neatly with pale woods, stone finishes and washed neutrals.

Pair with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass for a fresh, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
