Protea Flower Porcelain/Blush

About this fabric

The design shows open protea heads with layered blush and dusty pink petals, surrounded by slender blue-green stems and leaves. At 52 cm usable width, the wallpaper has a standard 10.05 m length and a 64.1 cm vertical pattern repeat; the supplied horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Its 158 gsm weight accompanies a light-looking, finely illustrated surface rather than a heavy textured finish. Against the creamy porcelain background, the muted colours remain delicate, with the pink flower centres providing the strongest point of contrast.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a soft botanical layer is wanted without darkening the room: it suits bedrooms, quiet sitting rooms and powder rooms with chalky creams, pale sage-blue and washed blush accents.

Pair the porcelain ground and faded blush proteas with pale blue-green furnishings for a softly balanced botanical scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
