About this fabric

This colourway of Clementine Chintz from Sanderson’s Curios Fabrics collection is a printed fabric with a 138 cm usable width and a generous 91 cm vertical repeat, so the climbing branches and scattered botanicals have room to open out across the cloth. At 300 gsm, it has enough body for versatile furnishing use, while the 49 threads per cm specification suggests a closely woven base that will take the detailed artwork well. Visually, the ground reads as warm soft cream, which lets the pink blossoms, fresh greens, sky blues and natural tan branches appear crisp rather than muddy. The overall effect is bright but gentle, with enough colour variation to feel detailed and romantic without becoming dark or overly saturated.

How to use it

Use it for statement curtains, relaxed blinds or feature upholstery where the cream ground can lift the room. It works especially well with painted wood, pale timber and green accents that echo the leafy stems.
