Osier Willow/Cream

Country Woodland Fabrics FabricSAF0215-03

Osier Willow/Cream shows a delicate willow-leaf repeat in soft sage and muted neutral tones on a warm creamy ground. The pattern feels light and airy, with the foliage creating an all-over, gently trailing rhythm.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country Woodland Fabrics collection is a substantial 300gsm textile with a usable width of 139 cm, making it well suited to upholstery projects that need body as well as pattern presence. The design repeats vertically every 49 cm and horizontally every 68 cm, and in this colourway the willow branches sit quietly against a creamy ivory background rather than reading sharp or high-contrast. The leaves are rendered in washed sage and pale green, so the overall effect is fresh, restrained and softly rural rather than bold. With 49 threads per cm, the cloth has a finely detailed woven character that supports the small leaf forms and keeps the pattern looking crisp at close range.

How to use it

Use Osier Willow/Cream on an armchair, headboard or bench to bring a light botanical note without darkening the room. Its creamy ground and muted sage detail work especially well with pale oak, linen and chalky painted finishes.

Soft cream grounds the leafy pattern for an airy country look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Osier Willow/Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
