About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country Woodland Fabrics collection has a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial weight of 340 gsm, which gives the cloth enough body for upholstery as well as broader interior use. The oak leaf motif is worked in a very pale cream-beige tone, so the pattern sits gently against the near-white background instead of creating strong contrast. With a 46.5 cm vertical repeat and 45.5 cm horizontal repeat, the design has a measured, repeating rhythm that suits calm, traditional schemes. The visible surface looks finely woven and smooth, with 27 threads per cm contributing to its crisp, neatly defined detail.

How to use it

Use this milk-toned colourway on an occasional chair, footstool or blind where its pale leaf pattern can soften a room without reading busy. It pairs especially well with natural timber, chalky paints and warm neutral linens.

A pale, easygoing leaf design that works beautifully on light upholstery or layered window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Oak Filigree Milk without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
