Musafir Cardamom/Namak

Curios Wallcoverings WallpaperSAW0243-01

Musafir Cardamom/Namak pairs muted sage-green and ivory vertical stripes with repeating coral and blue-grey ikat-like motifs. The softened palette gives the design a calm, lightly weathered depth rather than a bright, high-contrast effect.

About this fabric

The design is supplied as wallpaper at 130 gsm, with a 68.6 cm usable width and a standard length of 10.05 m. Its 60.9 cm vertical repeat sets the elongated motifs into regularly spaced ivory panels between fine sage and ivory stripes. Coral and blue-grey accents sit within the motifs, adding warm and cool notes against the restrained cardamom ground. The pale namak background keeps the pattern open, while the narrow vertical lines create a clear sense of height.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a full feature wall or throughout a calm bedroom, study or sitting room where its sage ground can sit alongside warm timber and the coral details can be picked up in small accents. The ivory panels and fine striping also work well with light upholstery and softly aged finishes.

Use this muted sage-and-ivory stripe to add gentle structure, with coral and blue-grey motifs bringing measured colour to the walls.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Musafir Cardamom/Namak without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
