Belari Avocado/Aleppo Pepper

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0441-03

Belari Avocado/Aleppo Pepper shows a tightly ordered stripe with soft avocado ground tones and warm peppery accents. The narrow woven bands give it a crisp, traditional rhythm with a dry, textured look.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Weaves collection is a substantial woven textile at 568gsm, with a usable width of 143cm and a repeat of 4cm vertically by 12cm horizontally. The swatch reads as a muted avocado green, interrupted by slender cream and rust-red patterned stripes that add warmth and a little contrast. Its surface looks firm and densely constructed, which suits the heavyweight feel suggested by the specification. The colourway has an earthy, vintage character rather than a bright or glossy finish, so the green sits comfortably beside natural woods, worn leather and deeper accent colours.

How to use it

Use it on a small sofa, dining chairs or a upholstered ottoman where the vertical stripe can bring height and structure. The avocado base and aleppo-pepper accents work especially well in rooms with oak, terracotta and warm neutral paintwork.

Use on a tailored chair or bench to bring in warm, earthy colour without overwhelming a scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belari Avocado/Aleppo Pepper without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
