Belari Spirulina/Lagoon

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0441-01

Belari Spirulina/Lagoon is a cool teal stripe with a clean, tailored feel and a crisp woven surface. The narrow vertical pattern gives the colourway a neat, orderly rhythm that reads fresh rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a substantial textile at 568gsm, with a usable width of 143 cm and a tight 108 threads per cm, which gives the surface its firm, closely woven handle. The design shows slim vertical stripes in spirulina teal, lagoon blue-green and pale cream, with small woven chevron and herringbone-like details that add texture between the bands. A 4 cm vertical repeat and 12 cm horizontal repeat keep the stripe pattern precise and evenly spaced across the cloth. The overall effect is cool, aquatic and slightly tailored, with the cream accents lifting the deeper teal so the colourway feels clear and bright rather than dark.

How to use it

This shade works well on an upholstered armchair, bench or headboard where the vertical stripe can sharpen the silhouette. Pair it with white-painted joinery, pale timber and muted sea-glass tones for a fresh, coastal-smart scheme.

Use with pale oak and chalky neutrals to keep the crisp vertical rhythm fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
