About this fabric

The dense teal ground is overlaid with irregular horizontal and vertical slubs, creating a small-scale checked texture rather than a printed motif. Its cool blue-green colour appears richest in the darker areas, while the lighter threads catch the light across the weave. Supplied at 517gsm, this substantial fabric is particularly suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 139cm. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are supplied as 0cm, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Albany Peacock on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep blue-green tone can anchor warm timber, aged brass and softly neutral walls. The fine pale crosshatching adds interest without introducing a separate decorative pattern.

A dense peacock-teal woven texture that brings cool colour and subtle movement to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
