About this fabric

This substantial plain weave weighs 517gsm, giving the fabric a dense, upholstery-suitable handle. The visible colour sits between muted mocha and taupe, with cooler grey threads lightly tempering the warm brown base rather than creating a flat block of colour. Fine horizontal and vertical threads form a subtle crosshatched texture, while the surface remains free from a printed motif. It has a usable width of 139cm, a standard length of 40m, and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use Albany Mocha on a sofa, armchair or footstool where its softly weathered taupe-brown tone can anchor creams, warm whites, aged timber and darker walnut. The restrained texture also works well with brushed metal and layered neutral textiles.

A substantial mocha-taupe plain weave with a softly crosshatched surface, well suited to upholstered seating and tailored furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
