Glyph Pumice/Taupe

Defined Momentum Wallcoverings WallpaperHAW0319-03

Glyph Pumice/Taupe pairs a pale pumice-coloured ground with loosely arranged taupe strokes that sweep across the surface like hand-drawn marks. The low-contrast palette gives the pattern a softly weathered, tactile-looking character.

About this fabric

The design is built from broad, broken lines and clustered brushstroke shapes, with the taupe marks shifting between warm beige and slightly deeper mushroom tones against the light ground. Its 68.6 cm usable width and 94.8 cm vertical pattern repeat define the scale of the recurring composition, while the horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Supplied in a standard 10.05 m length, it is suited to planning a continuous wallcovering installation around this generous vertical rhythm. The restrained contrast keeps the large-scale motif expressive without making the Pumice/Taupe colourway feel busy.

How to use it

Use it on a bedroom, study or softly furnished sitting room wall where the warm cream and taupe tones can sit alongside linen, pale oak and natural stone. Keep surrounding colours quiet to let the sweeping strokes provide the room’s movement.

Use this softly contrasting wallpaper to add movement without overwhelming a calm, neutral scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
