About this fabric

The fabric shows repeated cream fish in alternating directions, with fine illustrated details visible around their fins and tails. Its 220 gsm weight and 149 cm usable width make it a versatile mid-weight choice for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeats every 46.8 cm vertically and 49.5 cm horizontally, creating a clearly ordered but gently informal rhythm across the cloth. A dense specification of 443 threads per cm supports the fabric’s closely woven appearance.

How to use it

Use Kaku Taupe for relaxed curtains, occasional upholstery or a statement blind where the warm taupe and ivory contrast can sit comfortably alongside off-white walls and pale natural wood.

Pair the warm taupe ground with chalky whites, natural timber and relaxed upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
