About this fabric

The surface shows repeating vertical panels of curling foliage, small floral medallions and pointed leaf forms, all picked out in soft sky blue-grey against pearl. Its restrained contrast gives the pattern a cool, chalky depth, while the fine linework remains clearly visible across the swatch. At 433 gsm with 85 threads per cm, this is a substantial, densely made textile rather than a lightweight cloth. The pattern repeats every 31 cm vertically and 32 cm horizontally, providing clear measurements for matching the aligned motifs.

How to use it

Use this pale, cool-toned colourway on a formal occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where the pearl ground can brighten the silhouette. Pair it with softly greyed blue, ivory and silvered neutrals to echo the delicate tracery without competing with the pattern.

Use the cool pearl ground and delicate sky-blue tracery to bring a light, tailored feel to upholstered seating or accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
