Kaku Paprika

Idyllic Fabrics FabricHAF0568-04

Kaku Paprika pairs a warm paprika-red ground with repeated cream fish, creating a lively shoal-like pattern across the fabric. The softly irregular motif edges give the surface a relaxed, hand-drawn character.

About this fabric

At 220 gsm and 149 cm usable width, Kaku Paprika is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Cream fish motifs swim in alternating directions across the warm terracotta ground, with their pale tone standing out clearly against the deeper colour. The 46.8 cm vertical repeat and 49.5 cm horizontal repeat establish a medium-scale rhythm that remains visually distinctive without becoming crowded. A supplied thread count of 443 threads per cm accompanies the subtly textured-looking surface.

How to use it

Use Kaku Paprika on relaxed occasional seating, cushions or full-length curtains where its warm paprika tone can anchor a room. Pick up the cream fish with an ivory accent and keep surrounding finishes simple so the repeating shoal remains the focus.

Use this warm paprika colourway to bring an easy, graphic coastal character to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
