Idyllic Fabrics FabricHAF0278-02

Kienze Ochre/Steel combines a soft ivory ground with painterly blooms in cool steel grey and muted ochre. Slender charcoal stems and scattered leaves give the design a lightly sketched botanical character.

About this fabric

The flowers have layered, brush-like petals, with ochre concentrated at their centres and echoed in the smaller buds and leaf details. Steel-grey shading gives the larger blooms a cool, smoky depth against the pale ground, while the dark stems sharpen the overall pattern. Weighing 345 gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstered furniture. It has a usable width of 138 cm, with a 70 cm vertical repeat and 71 cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Pair it with warm ivory, natural timber and ochre accents to draw out the floral centres, or use charcoal details to reinforce the crisp outlines of the stems. The cool steel shading also works well with soft grey upholstery and understated metal finishes.

Use this painterly floral to bring warm ochre accents and cool steel-grey depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
