About this fabric

This Harlequin Idyllic Fabrics textile is woven with slim, interlocking diamond shapes that shift between cornflower blue, soft powder blue and near-white highlights. Its 125.2cm vertical repeat and 34.8cm horizontal repeat create a pronounced directional pattern, while the pale ground keeps the overall impression fresh rather than dense. At 286gsm and 140cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The visible woven texture gently softens the contrast between the cool blue bands and the lighter facets.

How to use it

Use the cool Cornflower/First Light colourway on a tailored armchair, roman blind or full-height curtain where its vertical rhythm can be seen clearly. Pair it with chalky whites, pale grey-blue and light timber to preserve its crisp, tranquil character.

A cool, airy geometric textile that brings pale blue clarity to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
