About this fabric

This 400gsm fabric has a softly substantial handle, while the close 167-threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface a finely textured, tactile appearance. Narrow vertical lines create the strié effect, with the pattern repeating every 2cm vertically and 7cm horizontally. The blue is muted rather than saturated, balanced by pale linen flecks that keep the colourway light and airy. At 141.5cm wide, it offers a versatile scale for both upholstered pieces and full-width soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use the cool sky-blue tone to lighten a reading chair, headboard or window seat, pairing it with chalky whites, pale oak and soft grey. As curtains or blinds, the linen-coloured threads will temper the blue and give a room a calm, layered finish.

A cool, softly textured blue-and-linen strié that brings quiet structure to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
