About this fabric

The cool pearl tone reads as a light ivory cream, while the closely spaced vertical stripes create a neat, gently textured rhythm across the swatch. Small darker flecks soften the stripe edges rather than forming a sharp graphic contrast, so the overall effect remains quiet and refined. With a substantial 494gsm weight and 138.5cm usable width, this is a weighty textile well suited to upholstery. The pattern has a compact 0.8cm vertical repeat and 2.5cm horizontal repeat, keeping the design finely scaled on a chair, headboard or sofa.

How to use it

Pair this pale pearl colourway with chalky whites, warm grey and natural oak for a light, tailored room. Its narrow vertical rhythm works particularly well on upholstery where the subtle flecked texture can be seen at close range.

Use this pale pearl stripe to bring quiet texture and tailored vertical rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
