Pepita Stripe Taupe/Mint

Idyllic Fabrics FabricHAF0572-02

Pepita Stripe Taupe/Mint combines a warm cream ground with closely spaced vertical lines in softened taupe and cool mint. Its small woven flecks give the stripe a tactile, finely patterned surface rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This substantial 494gsm textile is suited to upholstery, with a 138.5cm usable width for practical cutting. The design is formed from narrow vertical columns containing minute geometric flecks, creating a crisp stripe softened by the low-contrast cream, taupe and mint palette. Its 0.8cm vertical repeat and 2.5cm horizontal repeat keep the motif exceptionally small and controlled across the cloth. A specification of 138 threads per centimetre aligns with the swatch’s compact, detailed woven appearance.

How to use it

Use the muted taupe and mint against warm ivory, pale timber or chalky painted furniture for a calm tailored room. The cool mint threads add a gentle lift to the cream ground while the taupe gives enough definition for seats, dining chairs and ottomans.

A substantial, finely detailed stripe for tailored upholstery in calm, softly coloured schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pepita Stripe Taupe/Mint without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
