About this fabric

The airy blue background gives this colourway a fresh, quiet character, while the white motifs keep the surface bright and the honey accents add a gentle warmth. Its closely arranged pattern has a fine, regular texture and a small 3.4 cm vertical by 2 cm horizontal repeat. At 385 gsm with 37 threads per cm, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile, and the usable width is 127 cm. The low-contrast blue-and-white ground reads calm from a distance, with the honey details becoming more visible up close.

How to use it

Use this cool sky-blue colourway on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its orderly floral rhythm can remain visible. Balance it with chalky whites, pale timber and small touches of warm honey or natural ochre.

Use the cool sky-blue ground to lighten upholstered seating, with honey accents picked up in cushions or piping.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
