About this fabric

The close-packed floral and leafy motifs create a richly layered design, with chalky cream and soft pale-blue accents standing out against the terracotta base. Honey-gold touches add warmth, while the blue details introduce a cooler counterpoint that keeps the colourway from feeling flat. Its 39 cm vertical repeat and 94.2 cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a lively, all-over rhythm rather than a single focal motif. At 315 gsm and 142.5 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery; the stated 26.8 threads per cm indicates a closely constructed textile.

How to use it

Use this warm terracotta colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtains, balancing its busy botanical surface with plain cream, tan and dusty blue textiles. Natural wood and aged brass will reinforce the honeyed warmth without competing with the pale blue detail.

Pair the warm terracotta ground with natural timber, creamy upholstery and muted blue accents for a layered, informal scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tree Tops Baked Terracotta/Azul/Honey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
