About this fabric

Part of the Amalfi collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a strong 60,000 Martindale rub test. The colour is a restrained grey taupe: cooler at a glance, but softened by a beige undertone that keeps it from feeling stark. In the image, the surface appears smooth and fine-grained rather than textured, which helps the shade look calm and uniform across the cloth. It is supplied back coated to cigarette and match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and professional dry clean in situ is advised.

How to use it

Use Regency Grey where you want a neutral that feels tailored rather than cold, especially on sofas, banquettes or occasional chairs. It pairs neatly with pale oak, smoked timber and brushed metal, and its muted depth also works well against chalky whites and stone tones.

A calm, contract-ready neutral that will sit neatly with both warm woods and cooler metals.
