About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub test. The swatch shows a battleship taupe that sits between grey and brown, with a slightly weathered cast and small tonal flecks that catch the light. The surface looks tightly woven and neatly finished, making the colour feel understated but substantial. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care allows professional in situ cleaning or washing at 40℃.

How to use it

Use this cool taupe on sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where a calm, tailored look is needed. It pairs well with pale oak, charcoal, concrete and softened white for a quietly architectural scheme.
