Hendrix Flint

Hendrix Fabric804

Hendrix Flint is a tightly woven plain with a cool, stone-like taupe surface and a softly granular texture. The colour reads as restrained and architectural, with a pale grey-beige cast that keeps it calm and versatile.

About this fabric

Part of the Hendrix collection by J Brown, this plain colourway is made in 91% Polyester and 9% Nylon/Polyamide and is specified for Contract use. With a 100,000 Martindale rating, it is built for high-traffic interiors and upholstery that needs to hold its appearance. The swatch shows a finely textured weave with a muted flint tone, sitting between grey and beige rather than reading warm or creamy. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available on request. Professional Dry Clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Hendrix Flint on contract seating, banquettes or neatly upholstered dining chairs where a cool neutral is needed. Its soft taupe-grey depth pairs well with black metal, pale oak and sharper accent colours.

A cool, understated taupe that works beautifully on tailored seating and pared-back schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
