About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted taupe ground with smoky grey-brown movement and scattered golden-beige flecks that lift the surface in the light. Made from 100% polyester, Modena Shadow is specified for contract use and offers a hard-wearing 80,000 Martindale rating. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available upon request. The finish feels smart and versatile, with the mottled plain weave helping the shade look grounded and slightly weathered rather than stark.

How to use it

Use Modena Shadow on sofas, banquettes or accent chairs where a calm neutral with visual texture will soften sharper lines. Its warm taupe undertone pairs well with oak, bronze and deep green accents, and sits comfortably in both contemporary and classic interiors.
