About this fabric

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for contract use. It carries an impressive 80,000 Martindale, making it a practical choice for busy interiors, and is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. Visually, Modena Sand sits in a warm beige range with touches of oatmeal and pale taupe, and the surface catches the light with a faintly mottled, textile-rich texture. The overall effect is understated and versatile, with enough depth in the weave to stop the colourway feeling one-dimensional.

How to use it

Use Modena Sand on sofas, banquettes, or dining chairs where a warm neutral base is needed without looking stark. It pairs especially well with natural oak, honed stone, and softer greens, where its sandy undertone feels calm and lived-in.
