About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep russet terracotta, with darker brown-red shadows and lighter coppery highlights that give the surface a subtle lived-in movement. The plain design style keeps the focus on the colour and texture rather than pattern, which makes the nap-like sheen especially noticeable in the light. Made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, it also has an 80,000 Martindale rating, making it a strong choice for demanding upholstered pieces. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ or wash at 40°C with the pattern book care guidance.

How to use it

Use Modena Russet on a compact sofa, banquette or office chair where the warm red-brown tone can add character without feeling loud. It pairs well with tobacco leather, walnut finishes and soft neutrals for a layered, smart interior.
