Modena Salsa

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for contract use. Its 80,000 Martindale rating makes it suitable for demanding upholstery schemes, while the supplied back coating meets Cigarette & Match to BS5852; other treatments are available on request. Visually, Salsa is a bright cherry red with a slightly softened, velvety surface that catches the light in gentle variations, preventing the shade from looking harsh. The overall effect is bold, warm and contemporary, with enough depth to feel polished on statement seating or banquette work. Care includes professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance.

Pair this saturated red with charcoal, walnut or deep navy to sharpen its intensity, or set it against pale neutrals for a crisp contrast. It works especially well on occasional chairs, headboards and contract seating where a strong colour hit is needed.
